A while ago I convinced myself it was a good idea to part with the 28mm f/1.4D to finance the purchase of a brand new D300.
The D300 is a wonderful camera with an amazing high ISO performance. I love everything about the switch from the D2h except the file size/post processing time. Also recently I realized that the grip-size is useful when holding the camera with large lens and flash attached so I’ve convinced myself I need the MB-D10 to make the D300 feel more like the D2h in this regard. Also I have to admit to missing the vertical release.
